Archie Williams will be living out a dream tonight. The former Innocence Project client spent 36 years in prison in Louisiana for a crime he didn’t commit and was exonerated last year. Since then, he has wowed the judges on America’s Got Talent with his voice. Tonight, he’s competing in the finale.
He'll be singing a Beatles tune that he’s dedicating to his daughter, who he reconnected with after his exoneration last year. He hopes it will lead him to victory. The winner, to be announced in a two-hour results show on Wednesday, Sept. 23, gets $1 million and their own show in Las Vegas.
You can check it out tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, and cheer Archie on as he sings in the America’s Got Talent finale — and vote for him to win right here.

Unfortunately, far too many people like Archie remain imprisoned. We at the Innocence Project are thankful that Archie’s exoneration and freedom give him the opportunity to share his tremendous talents with the nation. We are rooting for him in the finals tonight!
