To celebrate National Voter Registration Day, here are 3 simple things you can do right now to ensure you (and everyone in CA) is ready to vote in the coming weeks:

Double check your voter registration and forward this link to your friends — Lots of people have been forced to move due to COVID. You need to have your current address on your voter registration when you submit your ballot.

Figure out HOW you’re going to vote — In person? Do you know where your polling place is? By mail? Do you know the status of your mail-in ballot? Sign up to track your ballot here.

Learn about what’s on your ballot — Use the California Democratic Party’s electronic slate to see what’s on your ballot, from candidates to all the ballot measures the CADEM has taken a position on.

Mail-in Ballots will be mailed out no later than October 5th and every county elections office will offer in-person voting starting October 5. So if you choose to mail in your ballot, make sure to mail it in early.

Once you’ve made your voting plan, reach out to 3 friends to help them make their voter plans too!
