There is no Planet B

Dear John,

This is the most consequential election of our lifetime. The stakes have never been higher, for our health and for our planet.

That’s why I’ll be watching the first 2020 Presidential Debate on September 29 – and I’m asking for your help to make sure Chris Wallace asks a clear question on our climate crisis and what the candidates' plans are to address it.

The single best way to make sure the moderators hear you is to send your own personalized question. Our tool makes it easy for you to do — and if you’re struggling to think of one, we’ve got some suggestions:

  • How do you plan to address the fact that the climate crisis disproportionately affects low-income communities and people of color?

  • Climate change is the greatest environmental threat humanity has ever faced. We are seeing the effects of it across our country on a daily basis. What steps will you take to ensure America can withstand the changes in the next four years for what we can’t ward off?

  • What steps will you take to ensure we’re not putting any more pollution into the atmosphere than we can remove by 2050 at the latest — a deadline we need to hit in order to avoid a climate catastrophe?

John, our democracy depends on an informed electorate choosing our leaders -- and that’s why we are asking you to ensure Chris Wallace addresses the climate crisis and demands the candidates respond.

There’s no time to waste -- we have less than a week until the first debate. Chris Wallace is actively gathering questions now. Ensure the climate crisis is a significant discussion in the upcoming presidential debate by contacting Fox News and asking Chris Wallace to make climate a priority in the debate today.

Millions of Americans across this county will tune into the debate on September 29. Take action and make sure climate change is front and center.

Thanks for standing with us.
