At EMILY's List we couldn't agree more.

As we reflect on the legacy Justice Ginsburg leaves behind, we must recommit ourselves to continuing her unending fight for fairness, freedom, and equality.

Justice Ginsburg exemplified best what happens when women are put in positions of power. She championed gender equality. She fought against discrimination based on sex. She pushed for everyone's right to vote. She secured health care access for millions of people. She safeguarded rights for those who have disabilities. She voted in favor of marriage equality.

At every turn, Justice Ginsburg was dedicated to fighting for justice for everyone.

And while continuing Justice Ginsburg's legacy seems like a daunting task, we know that every woman EMILY's List helps elect will get us closer to her vision for our country. We've endorsed candidates up and down the ballot and across the country who are fighters for equality, for women and families, and for fairness and justice for everyone.
