Donald Trump and Republicans just won't let up in their assault on the 2020 Census, friend!

According to NPR, the Census Bureau has less than two weeks left to try "to reach people of color, immigrants, renters, rural residents, and other members of historically undercounted groups who are not likely to fill out a census form on their own." And they've been dealing with unprecedented attacks from Congress and the White House since the beginning.

First, the Trump administration tried to add a citizenship question in a cynical attempt to reduce the response rate. Then, Trump signed an unconstitutional order to exclude undocumented people from the apportionment. And Senate Republicans led by Mitch McConnell refused to grant the Census Bureau extra time to complete their count.

If the Census Bureau isn't able to reach everyone they need to before the deadline? Those people won't get counted -- which means that when it's time to allocate federal funding and representation in Congress and state legislatures, communities of color will be disadvantaged. Which is A-OK for Trump and McConnell!

But we're fighting back. We successfully stopped the citizenship question, we're fighting Trump's order, and we'll do everything we can to ensure an accurate census. Can you help, friend?
