At Breastcancer.org, we want you to have the information you need to ask the right questions and make the most informed decisions. This requires you knowing as much about your cancer situation as possible — including all of your pathology reports, physician notes, scans, and lab results that are included in your medical records. Most people don’t realize that the records you can access to through your health portal are only a small portion of your complete records.

When you have access to your full medical records, you can:

  • end the frustrating and exhausting process of constantly tracking down your records and scans for ongoing care and second opinions
  • more readily find clinical trials and research studies using a digital summary of your cancer situation
  • retain your records for as long as you, or your loved ones, need access to the clinical information about your diagnosis and treatment

To help you get that access, Breastcancer.org is partnering with Ciitizen, a company that does the work of collecting your full records from everywhere you’ve received care, and provides you with digital access to everything you need to make informed decisions. Signing up for Ciitizen’s free service means you’ll also receive a useful summary of your cancer history, and you can choose to be notified about potential research studies that can help you and others now and in the future.

Wishing you all the best,

Hope Wohl
