John,

I wish I could say this is unbelievable: Attorney General Bill Barr reportedly wanted to prosecute the Mayor of Seattle for how she handled protests for racial equality, and even worse, wanted to charge protestors with sedition against the United States.

And if that wasn’t bad enough, he also threw fire on the COVID-19 pandemic by comparing public health recommendations from our doctors and scientists to slavery. Seriously, could this guy get any more absurd?

I’m terrified for our democracy, John. AG Barr has done so much damage to our democracy. From defending every unethical action of President Trump, to giving sweetheart deals to Trump’s criminal buddies, and now saying he wants to arrest those protesting for racial equality.

This criminal cabal ruling from the White House thinks they are kings, and they are dangerous — plain and simple.

John — I promise you, I will never let Donald Trump and Bill Barr jail everyday Americans or their political opponents. I’ve stood up to Barr when he’s testified before the Judiciary Committee in July, and even though far-right personalities attacked me after that, I’ll never, ever back down.
