Today is National Voter Registration Day -- and, as we all know, civic participation is at the heart of a healthy democracy. We must exercise our right to vote in this election.
Now is the time to double-check your voter registration information, especially if you've moved recently, or register to vote if you haven't already.
Let's elect candidates up and down the ballot who will lead with integrity and compassion. Let's show up for what we believe in. There is too much at stake to sit this one out -- the future of our country will be shaped by our actions today.
In California, the deadline for online voting registration is October 19th.
Don't wait until the last minute -- create a plan to cast your ballot! Remember, we can achieve real change in our communities, but first we must make ourselves heard.
