This is how we honor the life and service of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and continue the fight for justice.

Real Justice

Hi John,

I’m sure you’ve been thinking about Ruth Bader Ginsberg and her vacancy on the Supreme Court. I have, too.

RBG was a warrior for justice and equality. Her passing is an immeasurable loss.

Especially at a time when the party of Trump controls the Senate. This party is low down and dirty. They play by a different set of rules. There’s no getting around it: This is going to be ugly.

For the next 42 days, we have to be as FOCUSED and SERIOUS as WE’VE EVER BEEN. We must fight with all the courage and tenacity we can muster – not only to defeat Trump — but to win DA races, state houses, city councils, to Flip the Senate, and so much more.

I founded Real Justice PAC because of the strategic importance of local prosecutors in the fight to tear down our racist, oppressive system. As CEOs of their local justice systems, District Attorneys have more power than anyone else to hold police accountable and reign in mass incarceration.

In this moment, with a vacancy on the Supreme Court and the possibility of an even larger conservative majority for years, it is even more essential for us to elect strong, local champions of justice.

That’s why we’re asking you, John, to help right now to elect more reform-minded prosecutors than ever before this election.

If you are able, please make a contribution today to help us elect a wave of Real Justice candidates this election and make sure we have the local leaders we need to carry on the fight for justice and equality.

In the end, this moment will boil down to people like you, John. And how we all fight, together. Carrying on the fight for justice and equality is a definitive way to honor the life and service of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. And it is what we need in this moment.

Your friend and brother,

Shaun King
