John,

I know this year has been a whirlwind, but I don't want you to forget about what happened earlier this year.

You see, today is National Voter Registration Day, and we saw record voter turnout in the Iowa primary in June.

Civic participation is at the heart of a healthy democracy, and I couldn't be more proud that our campaign is working to get even more people engaged in what happens in our communities. Because your vote doesn't just affect you -- it affects the quality of education our kids will receive, if health care will be affordable and accessible, if our roads will be safe, if we'll be able to pass on the farm to the next generation, and so much more.

That's why I implore you to repeat it this November, John. The first step is to check your voter registration status or register to vote if you haven't already.

Starting pitchers can’t win a game if the team's offense doesn't score a run. We had a spectacular turnout for our primary election, but we have to bring the same energy to the general.
