Dear John,
On Thursday, we’ll be launching the first-ever Survivors’ Summit, and we hope you’ll join us, even during these hard times—especially during these hard times. Like everyone, we’re grappling with the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. While we allow ourselves to sit with the impact of Justice Ginsburg’s life and contributions, we know that we must move forward, carrying with us her spirit of tenacity, bold vision, and laser-sharp focus on gender equity and justice.
As we approach the Survivor's Summit, we are reinvigorated with the desire and commitment to create a future without violence. During this virtual event, we will lean into the power of survivors and community, build on the momentum of The ‘me too.’ Movement, and design strategies that will ensure the safety, rights, and dignity, not just for survivors, but for all of us.
Please join us September 24–26 for three days of building power and advancing survivor justice.

I’LL BE THERE! [[link removed]]
This three-day virtual convening of survivors, movement-makers, healers, and activists will be a space for us to collectively imagine what a world free of violence looks like. We will hear from leaders like Anita Hill, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, Tarana Burke, and so many other incredible advocates in the movement for survivor justice. Most importantly during this time, we’ll be hearing from you and creating a community that is READY and ACTIVATED to take action.
I’m looking forward to being in community with you on Thursday.
In Solidarity,
Arvia Walker
