John,
If you visited the NVAHA website in the last several days, you may have noticed things are looking a little bit different. In fact, we've got a whole new look!
I am thrilled to announce the launch of NVAHA's newly redesigned website. Over the last several months, we've been working hard behind the scenes to develop a site that is easier to navigate and does a better job showcasing our numerous organizational resources, including our talented and multi-sectoral Board of Directors and Leadership Council, our original research reports, advocacy and housing activities in local jurisdictions, and our Housing Toolkit platform. We've also made changes to our COVID-19 Resources & Updates page to make the information on this page more accessible and readily available.
I hope you will find time in the coming days to explore the new site and let us know what you think. When you do, be sure to check out our revised mission, vision and core beliefs statements on the Who We Are page. NVAHA staff, Board and Leadership Council members came together over the summer to revise our mission statement to acknowledge the continued impact of systemic racism in the housing sector, and to identify dismantling policies and practices that perpetuate inequity as an organizational priority. As we continue to develop new programs and initiatives that support this priority, you can read about them on our Housing & Equity page.
After you have a chance to review our new site, please let us know how you like it, what's missing, and what we can do to make the information on our site even more accessible! You can send questions and feedback to Nora Daly, NVAHA's Director of Programs and Community Engagement at [email protected].
Thank you!
Warm regards,
Michelle
