“Trump campaign goes all-in on Pennsylvania” (Axios, 9/20/20)

We’re teaming up with Make the Road Action to call Pennsylvania voters tomorrow night -- join our phone bank now in this must-win state →

Dear John:

In 2016, Trump won the state of Pennsylvania by 0.7 percent.

We don’t want to wake up the morning after Election Day and feel the way we did on November 9, 2016. (Or worse, to be honest).

Once again, Pennsylvania is shaping up to be a tipping point, if not the tipping point, for control of the White House.

Our friends at Make the Road Action have a plan: Contact and mobilize thousands of Latinx, Black, and working-class voters who may have been overlooked by both presidential campaigns.

If you can’t join the phone bank, can you make a contribution to help us organize? Every text, dial, and message costs something, so please chip in however you can →

As Axios reports, sources say: “The [Trump] campaign sees the "path of least resistance" running through Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania…”

President Trump himself is making TWO in-person appearances in Pennsylvania this week alone.

But Make the Road Action has been building political power in immigrant and working-class communities of color in PA for years. These communities have been directly impacted by the Trump administration’s disgraceful actions at the border, attempts to end DACA, gaming the Census, and lies about COVID-19.

Fortunately, in 2020, there are mail-in, early in-person voting (in some areas), and dropbox voting options that haven’t been available in PA before. We need to make sure every PA voter -- particularly those most impacted by Trump’s policies and the health and economic crisis -- knows how to vote safely this year.

Can you join our phone bank with Make the Road Action tomorrow?

Thanks, and see you soon!

P.S. We’re busy setting up new phone banks for the coming weeks, including one to support Jaime Harrison, who has a real shot at defeating Linsday Graham in South Carolina! Please chip in to support our organizing, and thank you so much →
