Today Is National Voter Registration Day. The Presidential Election is just six weeks away!
- If you are not registered to vote, you must do so by October 9th! Go to vote.nyc, or call 1-866-868-3692, to check your registration & register if necessary.
- Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd.
- Early Voting will be available from October 24th -- November 1st. We will follow up shortly with information about early voting sites in our area.
Absentee Ballots: Apply ASAP
It's easy and simple to apply online for a general absentee ballot for the November 3rd election. Click here to apply. Remember: if you applied for an absentee ballot for the primary election, you must apply again for the general election. Deadline to request an absentee ballot: October 27th.
The NYC Board of Elections has begun mailing out absentee ballots. The BOE now provides an Absentee Ballot Tracking System. Click here to check the status of your application and track your ballot. The system is updated every 24 hours, and applications take up to 72 hours to be entered.
2020 Census: Only 8 Days Left
The 2020 Census appears to be on track to end on September 30th. New York City needs a full count.
It is absolutely essential --for fair representation in government, equitable public funding, and much more-- that all New Yorkers participate in the Census. Go to my2020census.gov or call 844-330-2020 to complete your Census today -- it's fast and confidential.
Census workers are in the field, following up with Upper West Siders who still have not responded. Please assist their efforts -- if you live in a building with a doorman, please urge building management to allow Census workers with identification to enter and do their job.
