CNN reports that Attorney General William Barr has “continued to push false and negative narratives about mail-in voting,” telling Americans that “There's no more secret vote...the government and the people involved can find out and know how you voted.”
That’s not true. And even if it were, what is Barr implying exactly? That the Trump administration would choose to punish Americans for voting Democratic?
It’s a vile scare tactic. We agree with elections expert Rick Hasen: “The attorney general of the United States should not be spreading disinformation about voting.”
