Our campaign has raised over $1 million since Friday. That is more than FIVE times what Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith raised in all of Quarter 2.

I also want to thank the team behind Pod Save America for including us in their effort to flip the Senate, which has now brought in nearly $200,000 from grassroots donors all over the country to help fuel us in these final six weeks. This support will be instrumental for all of the candidates working to flip the Senate.
I am so impressed and thankful for all of the support we’ve received. All weekend long, I was reading your tweets and posts, and couldn’t be more grateful. What we have here is a people-powered campaign to replace Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith and move Mississippi forward. And I couldn’t be prouder.
But these next 42 days are critical, you know. We are polling within one point of Cindy Hyde-Smith. We have to continue to get out the vote, spread our positive message far and wide across Mississippi, and respond to Senator Hyde-Smith’s attacks — especially now that we know she is launching her first TV ads tomorrow (and they will probably attack me and our campaign).
We have the opportunity to make history by electing the first Black senator from Mississippi since the Reconstruction Era. We have a chance to work on crucial issues like Medicaid expansion, COVID-19 relief and economic recovery, public education, voting rights, and more. We have a chance to move Mississippi forward!
I’m ready to fight for you in the U.S. Senate, but we have only 42 more days to make it happen.
