Happy National Voter Registration Day!

At NextGen (and especially in these dark times), we take any opportunity we can get to celebrate. And when voting’s involved? That’s what we call a slam dunk.

Today we are calling and texting hundreds of thousands of unregistered voters to make sure they can cast a ballot and make their voice heard in the upcoming election. But we need your help.

Take a moment to make sure your voter registration is up-to-date (or, register to vote if you haven’t already!).

We have exactly 42 days — or six weeks — until Election Day. By taking a moment today to confirm you’re registered to vote, you’ll help us better identify and target folks who still need help registering to vote. 

And we need to make sure everyone who has the ability to vote has the support they need to exercise that fundamental right. Because this election is about more than choosing the next president, it’s choosing what the future of our country will look like. It’s the choice between living in a country that promotes hope or living in a country that promotes hate. And that choice will shape everything from our health care policies to our climate crisis response to how we treat and value all members of our nation — no matter the color of their skin, who they love, or where they live.
