Friend -

We at March for Moms mourn the loss of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg this week. She was a tireless advocate for many of us and a guiding light for working mothers everywhere. Being only the second woman on the Supreme Court and a mom, she gave visibility to motherhood in ways that had previously been harder to see.

As the country continues to struggle under the medical and financial burdens of COVID-19, Congress has dissolved to fighting about Justice Ginsberg's replacement, rather than passing another relief bill.

We are working hard to keep Congress accountable to pregnant people and moms - and even pushing them to extend Medicaid coverage to a full year postpartum. Check out our recent Congressional Briefing with Congresswoman Underwood, Congresswoman Adams and Congresswoman Herrera Beutler on Advancing Respectful, Accountable Maternity Care in Medicaid, read our letter and help us spread the word that moms cannot be ignored during the COVID-19 crisis.

Thank you,

Katie
