Red Wolves Desperately Need Our Help

We’ll get straight to the point: there are only nine known red wolves left in the wild . Out of a species that once roamed the entire southeastern United States, only
nine remain in the wild that we know of for certain. But we aren’t ready to give
up.

We’re asking our wildlife champions to step up and raise $9,000 today for these
nine wolves and other wildlife in peril. If six supporters from your state give $30, we know we can raise $9,000 to help
save species on the brink. Can red wolves count on you?

The red wolf is the world’s most endangered wild canid. Together with wildlife
champions like you, we are working with national, state, and local partners to
stop their march towards extinction—and save one of our most vulnerable native

Red wolves’ current habitat in the forests and marshes of eastern North Carolina
leaves them critically vulnerable to climate change-fueled coastal flooding.
Poaching and harassment when red wolves wander onto private lands are further
hurting an already vulnerable population.
