The City Councilprovides a variety of services to citizens. All of these services require administrative and customer-facing support. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Permit Support Officer to deal with all aspects of issuing on- street parking permits and blue badges to citizens and dealing with other administration support across the Parking Regulation & Compliance team.
The role will involve working with our busy customer-facing team providing administrative support and excellent customer service skills to citizens who make contact with the service. The successful applicant will need to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines therefore the ability to prioritise their own workload is essential.
You should be able to use communication skills to deal effectively with citizens, businesses, councillors and internalcolleagues who make contact with the team. You should be able towork as part of a team developing an understanding of networks and working relationships within the team. If you are keen to be involved in providing a valuable service to Nottingham City citizens in busy and sometimes challenging situations this role may be for you.

Our Maintenance Assistant post is for an annualised contract, based on an average working week of 42 hours per week. Hours worked per week will be flexible and depend on our programme. The starting salary is 19,493 (Level One at 42 hours) rising to 20,070 (Level Two at 42 hours) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).
The Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to work with the Maintenance Supervisor to support planned preventative maintenance, building projects and repairs for both venues. In general terms you will ensure that the site is maintained in excellent condition for all visitors, performers and staff and you will demonstrate high standards of customer care at all times. You should have a good basic knowledge of basic maintenance and of health and safety especially in regards to Legionella and asbestos management.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, confident individual to join a small and friendly Trading Standards team, which is recognised for its excellent working partnerships, being in a unique position based in a City Centre police station. We are committed to improving the quality of life for citizens, businesses and visitors to Nottingham, with a focus on safety in all its various aspects. A core city of England, our team has a strong local and regional profile, achieving high impact results with limited resources.
We are looking for an Accredited Financial Investigator to work with the Trading Standards and Safer Housing teams, to support investigations into fraudulent trading and rogue landlords, leading to confiscations under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
The main duties will be to conduct financial investigations into identified individuals, businessesand those from organised crime groups, with a view to prosecution under relevant legislation. You will have had recent experience in the restraint of assets, including cash forfeiture, as well as having proven investigation skills, interviewing of suspects and Court experience. You must be able to demonstrate continuing accreditation under the Act.
For this position, you will need to be highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a genuine commitment to achieve. This is a full time position of 37 hours per week, for a fixed term contract of 2 years, and is subject to full Police vetting. This is an opportunity for a self motivated individual: you will have the ability to work with the minimum ofsupervision, as well as in a team environment. You must be able to communicate at all levels, and be able to maintain accurate records of all financial investigations conducted.
You will be recognised and valued, and feel that you are making a significant contribution to the welfare and safety of local vibrant communities.
*ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:*
* To be accredited with the NPIA as a financial investigator for the purposes of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002
* To have an understanding of the need for, and the aims of, Trading Standards and other regulatory services, and the role that the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 can play in those environments.
* To have experience and awareness of current financial investigation and auditing techniques, and of dealing with financially based analytical work
* Demonstrated experience of financial investigation and asset confiscation
* Substantial experience of working in an investigative role, with a proven ability to investigate offences, interview suspects, prepare concise accurate information and give evidence in court proceedings.
* Willingness and ability to achieve Police vetting acceptance.

You will be a key part of a team of three Public Health Consultants and a Director of Public Health with support from Public Health Insight Specialists and Analysts.
You will be intellectually and practically flexible and able to cope with multiple and changing demands. You will use negotiation, motivation skills and public health leadership skills to deal with complex public health issues, advising and making recommendations regarding health and care services and patient care. You will appreciate the importance of understanding Nottinghams diverse cultures to advocate and enable effective working across organisational boundaries, influencing without direct authority where necessary.
You will be confident in leading on complex public health issues, advising the local authority, Clinical Commissioning Group, Integrated Care System and the Health and Wellbeing Board making recommendations regarding services, patient care and the wider determinants of health.
