If, like us, you're dismayed about Republican officials tampering with mail-in voting in Wisconsin, Texas, or Pennsylvania, you REALLY aren't going to like hearing this.

On Thursday, Buzzfeed News identified more than half a dozen legal battles the Trump campaign is waging against Democratic governors and other state officials attempting to expand vote-by-mail, and the Trump campaign has also intervened in at least eleven local cases to prevent measures designed to make voting easier during the pandemic. They've already won initial victories in the crucial swing states of Ohio, Arizona, Minnesota, and Iowa -- and if we don't get involved and stop them, it will only get worse.

The Trump campaign is no longer just trying to scare voters away from voting by mail -- they're now fighting to get ballots rejected, restrict secure ballot dropboxes, and even to stop states from sending voters their ballots in the first place.

Trump and his cronies are bringing deep pockets to this fight: they've stockpiled at least $20 million to disrupt our voting systems. According to election law experts, the GOP sees this as a bare-knuckle strategy to get the president re-elected at any cost.

We need to stop this, now. Almost two-thirds of Americans say everyone in their state should be able to vote by mail. But more and more voting rights are being stripped away every day. This is exactly how an election gets stolen -- which is why we need to make a stand, now, to protect our democracy under attack.
