Friends,

Today, on American Business Women’s Day, we honor the accomplishments of women in business across the country. This day means quite a lot to me: I am a proud business owner myself who is fighting hard to be the first woman to represent MN-08 in Congress.

My company has allowed me to share my story about living with type 1 diabetes to thousands across America. It has given me the opportunity to advocate for those living with chronic illnesses.

Here’s one thing I’ve learned: It is NOT easy to run a business. I deeply admire the resilient women who get up each day and do what it takes to pay rent, put food on the table, and ensure their families have access to healthcare.

Right now, the law doesn’t make it any easier for them. We’re still fighting for true equality for all women in areas like pay, housing, employment, representation, and more. That’s why we must establish women’s equal rights under the U.S. Constitution.

The Equal Rights Amendment is critical in overcoming the barriers set for women in our country by establishing that women have equal rights under the U.S. Constitution. I’m standing with other advocates demanding that The Equal Rights Amendment is finally ratified — which will first require that the GOP Senate remove the ratification deadline.

In honor of the millions of business women across the country today, will you add your name to tell the Senate to finally move forward with the passage of the Equal Rights Amendment?

Thanks for standing with the women of our country.
