FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2020 KELLY LOEFFLER BLASTS RAPHAEL WARNOCK FOR ANTI-COP RHETORIC ATLANTA – Today, following Tucker Carlson’s segment last night on Raphael Warnock’s history of radical, anti-law enforcement remarks, conservative businesswoman and political outsider Kelly Loeffler issued the following statement: "For months, Democrats have fueled the anti-police sentiment in this country – villainizing our police officers, attempting to defund our police departments, and organizing anti-police rallies in our streets. But for years, Raphael Warnock has railed against the police from his pulpit – calling them gangsters and thugs, claiming they endanger our children, and dismissing them as bullies on the street," said Senator Loeffler. "It’s anti-cop radicals like Raphael Warnock who are turning our police officers into targets and inciting violence across our country. "I pray for the safety and security of our law enforcement officers. In my state, we will always back our police officers. And in my race, I won't stand for Raphael Warnock provoking violence against our heroes on the frontlines." Background: In a 2015 Sermon, Warnock Complained about “Police Power Showing up in a Kind of Gangster and Thug Mentality” in Ferguson, MO – then Warnock Complained Generally about Police Officers, Saying, “You Know You Can Wear All Kinds of Colors and be a Thug, You Can Sometimes Wear the Colors of the State and Behave Like a Thug." (Ebenezer Baptist Church, Sunday, March 8, 2015 - 11 am Worship Service) In a 2015 “Children’s Day” Sermon, Warnock Complained about the Police “Often” Posing a “Danger” to Children – Saying, “Our Children Are in Trouble, and It’s Often Those Who Are Sworn to Protect Who Cause More Trouble... Our Children Are in Danger.” (Ebenezer Baptist Church, Sunday, June 14, 2015 - Children's Day) In a 2015 Sermon, Warnock Said “We Shouldn't Be Surprised when We See Police Officers Act Like Bullies on the Street” – Complaining, “You Don’t Get to Be the Incarceration Capital of the World by Playing Nice on the Streets, You Have to Work for that Distinction." (Ebenezer Baptist Church, Sunday, November 29, 2015 - Advent Sunday) ### Stephen Lawson Communications Director [email protected] Paid for by Georgians for Kelly Loeffler Georgians for Kelly Loeffler | 9755 Dogwood Rd Suite 340, Roswell, GA 30075 Unsubscribe [email protected] Update Profile | About our service provider Sent by [email protected] powered by Try email marketing for free today!
