Tell Congress to Act Now to Help End Alzheimer's

Urge Congress to increase Alzheimer's research funding by $350 million.
Act Now

Dear John,
Alzheimer's disease is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States. To continue making progress toward the first survivor of Alzheimer's, we must ensure lawmakers understand that investing in Alzheimer's research is a top priority, and we must act now.
Please, help to urge Congress to remain committed to the fight to end Alzheimer's by increasing research funding for Fiscal Year 2020.
Take Action Now

Alzheimer's is an expensive epidemic that threatens to bankrupt America. In 2019 alone, caring for individuals living with Alzheimer's or other dementias will cost $290 billion. You can help us do something to one day end this disease by acting today.

Barring increased research funding to uncover and develop breakthroughs needed to prevent, slow or cure this disease, the number of people age 65 and older with Alzheimer's or other dementias could skyrocket to nearly 14 million by 2050. While we've made significant progress as a nation in funding research, we must do more, and that's where we need you to take action today.
Urge Congress to include a $350 million increase to the FY2020 budget for Alzheimer's research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
