Special Election: Zan Fort

Following Nikema Williams stepping down from her position as Georgia State Senate member for District 39 to fill the vacancy left by John Lewis in District 5, a special election will be held to determine her successor.

Zan Fort is running to be the next State Senator for District 39. Should MADSA endorse him?

MADSA's Electoral working group has organized a live Q&A TONIGHT @ 6PM to allow our membership to get to know candidate Zan Fort better.

Fort's platform includes major socialist initiatives such as a $15 dollar minimum wage, support for labor unions, the BLM movement, and Medicare For All.

THURSDAY: Steering Committee Candidate Forum

Before we vote on our new Steering Committee members on Saturday, September 26, we want you to have the chance to ask your questions. MADSA will host a candidate forum on Thursday, September 24 at 7pm. There will be 1 to 3 general questions asked by a moderator, followed by a Q&A session for attendees to ask further questions.

All members in good standing will have the opportunity to vote on our next Steering Committee of 9 comrades. You MUST register to vote by midnight before the convention.

FRIDAY: MADSA Convention Social Hour @ 8pm
