An innovative imaging probe currently being developed by Perkins-based
company OncoRes Medical, together with Perkins-based researchers, is in the
running for a prestigious award.  But the award is influenced by
popularity vote – that’s why we need your help!

Did you know 30% of Australian women with breast cancer have to go back for
a second surgery because some of the tumour is missed?

The probe is designed to help surgeons ensure they get
all the cancer during a lumpectomy.

OncoRes Medical was recently voted the 2019 company
with the top medical innovation for improving patient care at a leading
U.S. medical conference. And now it’s in the running for $350K USD to
support the development of the technology!

This is the first time EVER an Australian start-up,
the Perkins-based OncoRes Medical, has made it into this prestigious, U.S
based Med Tech Innovator program.

The number of 'likes' this video gets on YouTube will
boost our chances of winning.
