Folks,
I’m devoting today to talk to you about one of the greatest Justices in American history, Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Justice Ginsburg broke through glass ceiling after glass ceiling, climbed mountains, and overcame countless hardships in her fight for reproductive rights, workers’ rights, women's rights, and a fair and just democracy.
She was a working mother, a devoted wife and one heck of a legal mind. She never let anyone or anything get in her way or silence her voice. Through any trial or tribulation, Justice Ginsburg fought for us.
She is a beacon of light, reminding us to continue her fight and keep advocating for a better future. Her contributions to our country and legal system are tremendous, and her legacy will live on in my daughters and granddaughters.
But mark my words — if we don’t fight to change this country and for better leadership, the values Justice Ginsburg devoted her life fighting for will be at risk.
We’re facing the most important election of our lifetime. We can’t allow the values and ideals Justice Ginsburg fought for her entire life to unravel at the hands of one corrupt administration and those who are complicit in their actions.
As we continue to honor Justice Ginsburg, we must continue her fight for a just future.
