Mitch McConnell was fine vacationing instead of negotiating for a stimulus bill to help millions of suffering working people. But hours after RBG’s death, he sprung into action and vowed to push another Trump nominee onto the Supreme Court.
Trump’s nominee will potentially be announced as soon as this week, and we need to be ready. Senators Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski have already come out and said the next president should pick the nominee. That means we only need two more to block Trump’s pick.
Our Revolution local groups are well-positioned to pressure Republican Senators to join Murkowski and Collins. Cory Gardner in Colorado, Lindsey Graham in South Carolina, Martha McSally in Arizona, and others must feel the heat as they run for election — we will help generate enormous grassroots pressure in these last six weeks.
