John, these have been a difficult few days for us all. The stakes are high now — but we're not backing down.
Senator Elizabeth Warren said it best during our emergency WFP Assembly call with over 1,000 Working Families Party supporters on Saturday night:
"We have to focus on the coming elections, the White House, the Senate, Democrats up and down the ballot, all across our nation. We've got to register everyone to vote. We've got to request those mail-in ballots. We've got to vote early and we've got to fight like hell to rebuild our democracy. I know that at times it can feel hopeless, but remember, hope is not given to us. Hope is something that we create. There has never been a more righteous time to get in this fight."
It's clear that while we're going to need to brace ourselves for two concurrent fights, our plan for the election remains the same: Mobilizing a MASSIVE turnout in November to take back every office, remove Trump from the White House, and build a movement big enough to win the structural change we need.
But we have to hit a critical goal of raising $300,000 by the end of the month to keep our plans for November on track. Can you rush a contribution to the Working Families Party's general election GOTV fund today?

Together, we can harness our grief and rage into turning out the largest number of voters in our nation's history.
This is the fight of our lives. Let's go.
In solidarity,
