The passing of Justice Ginsburg has ignited a political firestorm in our country.
The D.C. Democrats and their extreme-left backers are going off the deep end over the prospect of a strong constitutional conservative majority on the U.S. Supreme Court...
Like you and me, they know that we are ONE VOTE AWAY from losing our fundamental constitutional liberties.
It’s exactly what they’ve wanted for DECADES!
In less than 48 hours after Justice Ginsburg’s passing, the Democrats raised more than $100 million to stop us from filling this seat. It’s a record-shattering sum.
We must fight back with all we’ve got – to win this historic SCOTUS battle and DEFEND our conservative majority in the U.S. Senate on November 3rd – and we need an immediate boost in critical resources to do it.
I was among the first to urge President Trump to nominate a successor immediately, and to urge the Senate to take up and confirm that successor before Election Day.
We face a potential CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS if this doesn’t happen...
We know the Democrats intend to challenge the outcome of this election if President Trump prevails. Hillary Clinton has urged Biden not to concede under any circumstances.
And a 4-4 Supreme Court that is equally divided cannot decide anything!
20 years ago, I was part of the legal team that litigated Bush v. Gore. For 37 days, the nation did not know who the president was going to be. If we’d had a 4-4 court, it could have dragged on for MONTHS.
You’ve seen the news coverage and social media tantrums...the Democrats and liberal media are LOSING THEIR MINDS, desperate to delay filling this vacancy.
Chuck Schumer has threatened to expand and pack the court if the Democrats seize full control of our federal government this year. Nancy Pelosi is now talking about weaponizing impeachment AGAIN in a scorched-earth scheme to block President Trump’s nominee for this seat. And, predictably, we have the leftist mob calling for violence in the streets.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Let’s look at the actual history of election-year SCOTUS vacancies:
- There have been 29 instances of a vacancy on the court during a presidential election year. Presidents have made nominations 29 times.
- Of the 19 times this occurred when the White House and Senate were controlled by the same party, those nominees have been confirmed 17 times.
- Of the 10 times this occurred when the White House and Senate were controlled by different parties, those nominees were confirmed ONLY TWICE.
It’s a question of checks and balances, and representing the will of the people!
Voters elected a Republican Senate majority in 2014, in 2016, and 2018, in large part because they want to see constitutional conservative judges and justices on our courts. President Trump was elected in large part for the very same reason.
It is our DUTY to fill this seat, and protect our constitutional liberties from the left-wing mob that wants to steal them away.
