October is National Bullying Prevention Month
National Bullying Prevention Month, initiated by PACER Center in 2006, is a
month-long campaign that unites a nation to take action at the local level
to prevent childhood bullying and promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion
in schools, communities, and online.
• Order the official orange "Choose Kindness, Acceptance, and Inclusion" t-shirt
by Friday 09/25 in order to receive in time for Unity Day. Yard signs available,
too!
• Register your school or organization as a Champion Against Bullying
• Color our virtual world with a collection of downloadable promotional images
• Download, print, and share the flyer with your school, organization, or community
• Plan for Unity Day: Wed., Oct. 21, 2020
• Promote with the free Unity Day poster, available in English and Spanish
Free K-12 Education for Classroom and At Home
• Library with resources to engage K-12 learners
• ALL-IN, online, year-long bullying prevention module designed to include,
invest, and involve students to prevent and address bullying
• Activities and resources designed for students to creatively engage them
through conversation, activities, art, and music and build their understanding
of how to handle bullying situations
• Elementary School Activities
• Middle and High School Activities
• Encourage younger students to submit their questions to “Ask Carmen,” a
member of the “Club Crew” who knows a lot about bullying and gives great advice
to kids
