Jared joined the Marine Corps infantry after the 9/11 terror attacks, serving combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. There, he learned what teamwork was all about -- a lesson he’s applied to his time in Congress as well.
Today, it’s no secret that too many folks in Washington are focused on playing partisan politics rather than getting to work for their constituents. But Jared has risen above the gridlock to get things done, like pushing for the creation of mental health and substance abuse treatment programs for Maine’s veterans.
