Friend,

On this day in 2017, President Trump announced that he was rescinding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which granted protections for Dreamers: undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States as children and who call this nation home.

Since then, his racist, anti-immigrant agenda has only gotten more extreme and cruel.

While his efforts to roll back DACA have so far been unsuccessful in the courts, the Supreme Court is set to make a decision on the case as soon as this fall, and Dreamers live in fear that they may one day soon risk deportation from the only country they've ever known.

Ending DACA was only the beginning of the anti-immigrant agenda for Donald Trump. His xenophobia and racism have been further institutionalized with his administration's cruel family separation policy, deportation expansion, inhumane detention centers at the border, and more.

And this week, he went so far as to take funding away from FEMA to help pay for his unnecessary and ineffective border wall.

Mexico is going to pay for the wall? Nope. Service members, their families and taxpayers? Yup.

Trump's attacks and hateful rhetoric against immigrants crossed a line a long time ago, and they directly contradict the values our country was built on. But we know that doesn't matter to him.

That's why it's up to us to say it's not okay. If you're with me, add your name today to oppose Trump's anti-immigrant agenda and demand comprehensive immigration reform that protects Dreamers and migrant families. [link removed]

It's time we put an end to Trump's heartless persecution of immigrants, and pass real solutions to fix the humanitarian crisis this president has created.
