"Real change, enduring change, happens one step at a time." - Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
On Friday evening, our country lost one of the most influential legal advocates and civil rights defenders in history. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a fearless fighter for the rights of women, people of color, immigrants, LGBTQ people, and those impacted by gun violence, and it’s in her honor that we fight on.
Many have said that we should make Justice Ginsburg’s memory a revolution. I couldn’t agree more and I hope that we can work together to make this world a better place.
Now more than ever we need to fight like our lives depend on it. In the streets, Congress, state houses, city halls, every block, and every courtroom.
Later this week we will host our next monthly advocacy call, and talk more about our election plans for 2020. You can sign up to attend that call here [[link removed]] .
Our lives depend on the fight we choose to take on today.
In solidarity,
