Ruth Bader Ginsburg fought for all of us. After hearing about her passing, I allowed myself to fully mourn the loss of this powerhouse who protected our democracy until her last breath.
This morning, I forced myself to face the terrifying reality of this situation: the Supreme Court may be lost to us for the next two generations. If conservatives have their way, we’ll be forced to spend the next two decades fighting attacks against reproductive justice, LGBTQ rights, racial equity, gender justice, immigration reform and who knows what else. States will pass extreme and restrictive laws with one goal in mind: getting in front of the Supreme Court.
A great battle lies ahead, and re:power will be here, using our platform to build and support the brilliance of leaders working within these movements [[link removed]] .

re:power builds the infrastructure of progressive movements. We train people to get engaged, and stay engaged, in leading change in their communities. We support organizations, coalitions, and networks through training and skills development, including organizing and mobilizing campaigns and strategic planning. And we have supported nearly 100,000 leaders from many different movements, including social justice, voting and reproductive rights, criminal and immigrant justice reform, and labor.
If conservatives get to appoint another Supreme Court justice, attacks on our inalienable rights will be fast, furious, and overwhelming in size and scope. Now, more than ever, progressive movements need support so that they can scale quickly and strategically. re:power is uniquely positioned to help grow and sustain progressive organizations and movements for the fight that lies ahead, but we need your help. Can you chip in $15 today so that we can rise to meet this moment? [[link removed]]
With your support we can:
* Continue our work with state-level organizers pushing for judicial independence and diversity on their courts at the state and municipal levels;
* Develop skills-building and training around digital organizing, digital security, and data and analytics for issue campaigns;
* Inspire and train community leaders to run for office grounded in their values of justice;
* Support elected officials to move bold agendas for racial, gender, and economic justice.
We are ready for this battle, and we plan to give it all we’ve got so that we can secure our rights and win true freedom for all communities. Join us, and help support the movement by investing in re:power today [[link removed]] .
