To the 2020 candidates: What's your vision for children?

It's been a rough year to say the least. In 2020, children have had their education disrupted by a global pandemic, unmasked the consequences of generational racial injustice and marched for their voices to be heard. This election is about our children and the future they deserve.

Whether ensuring that children have safe ways to continue learning or protecting the environment against climate change — the president's job is to keep children safe, healthy and supported through the pandemic and beyond.

As the election approaches, we need to make sure that the presidential candidates have a vision for the future that puts children first with policies that address the needs of every child and give children a role in making decisions on the issues that impact their generation.
