Friends -

This election, and possibly the future of the Supreme Court, will likely be won or lost with voters in battleground states. That's why we're asking you to support five grassroots organizations in key battleground states who are doing the all-important work of turning people out to vote in November's election.

Not only are these organizations doing the work required to win this election — they are also deeply committed to transforming our country through grassroots organizing.

These five groups will be in their states the day after the election to continue organizing for our progressive agenda. They are not only going to help us defeat Trump, elect a Democratic Senate and Democratic House, but they will help lead the fight for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, a $15 minimum wage, and criminal justice reform.

I hope you'll consider supporting these local organizations who work hard every single day to register, inform and turn out voters as well as hold candidates accountable once they're in office.

Please split a $10 contribution to Pennsylvania United, Southpaw Michigan, Iowa CCI, Wisconsin BLOC, Texas Organizing Project, and our campaign today.

Here is some information on the work these organizations are leading in battleground states.

Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement (Iowa CCI) is made up of everyday people who get things done on issues that impact us the most. From stopping more than 100 factory farms in Iowa to ensuring the state complies with the Clean Water Act, Iowa CCI has been on the frontlines of important fights for the last 40 years. Iowa CCI Action members are building a multi-racial, people-powered, and planet-first movement that’ll push 24/7, 365 days a year for bold and transformative change.

Pennsylvania United works for and with working class people to build communities that work for everyone in Western Pennsylvania. They are building a multi-racial, working class movement for long-term change, and they are currently rising to the challenge of defeating the most dangerous president in history.

Southpaw Michigan is a state-wide organization built out of Dr. Abdul El-Sayed’s 2018 campaign for governor that is committed to building progressive power from the ground up. Between now and November, Southpaw volunteers will be calling 500,000 Michiganders and sending 2.5 million texts to get out the vote and the organization is supporting a slate of progressive candidates to help flip the Michigan House of Representatives.

Wisconsin BLOC (Black Leaders Organizing for Communities) works to lift up Black citizens, leaders, and businesses and invests in community-based organizing to engage voters and build long-term political power. The organization empowers Black leaders with the tools, training, and resources needed to organize and guarantee that their issues, concerns, and values are represented at all levels of government.

Texas Organizing Project (TOP) organizes Black and Latino communities with the goal of transforming the state of Texas towards more progressive representation. They are leading the fight on many important issues including Medicare for All, immigration reform, criminal justice reform and expanding affordable housing.

As Bernie says, real change never happens from the top down, but from the bottom on up. That's why we have to support groups that are organizing locally across the country. And the work that these groups are doing in battleground states right now will play a critical role in determining the outcome of this election.

If you can support these organizations doing important work on the ground in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa and Texas, together we are going to defeat Donald Trump and continue organizing to transform this country.

That is why I'm asking you today:

Please split a $10 contribution today between these five organizations working in battleground states across the country and our campaign.

Thank you for all you've done, and will continue to do, for our movement.

In solidarity,
