Join us for a fiercely non-partisan dialogue on racial justice and democracy, interspersed with music that tells our movement's story.

We'll be talking with Omar Epps, Michael K. Williams, and Desmond Meade, sharing a presentation on the roots of racism in our country from Human in Common, and featuring performances by select artists from Songs For Good’s 2020 competition who have created a new soundtrack for the movement.

Featured artists include:

  • Flipsyde, a band from the Bay Area formerly signed to Interscope Records that has toured with acts like Snoop Dogg, Akon, and the Black Eyed Peas
  • Divinity Roxx, a GRAMMY-nominated artist, composer, and musician known for her role as the renowned female bassist of Beyonce's touring band The Sugar Mamas
  • Eric Who?, a music and comedy genius who has taken TikTok by storm with over 700K followers
  • Marquie Jackson and Broderic Thompson, a Texas-based duo known as Knowledge and G.I.F.T.

Unrig Roundtable is proud to bring you critical conversations with experts and activists in the democracy reform field. We're thrilled to share this special edition on racial justice and unrigging our political system – while building a new soundtrack for democracy.

"Like successful movements of the past, music must be central to our strategy for winning. When created with purpose, song is one of our most powerful forces. At once it can inspire, elevate a message, cultivate empathy, unify, and channel human energy.”

- Nate Dewart, Founder, Songs for Good
