CEP-GLOBSEC Webinar: Muslim Brotherhood Activities In The Czech Republic,
Poland, And Serbia
GLOBSEC and the Counter Extremism Project (CEP) invite you to join us for a
webinar to launch the second report on the Muslim Brotherhood’s activities in
Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), which focuses on three case studies.
Muslim Brotherhood Activities in the Czech Republic, Poland, and Serbia
Wednesday, September 23, 2020
8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. ET / 14:00 - 15:30 CEST
During the past 30 years since the end of the communist regime and the opening
of borders, Islamic groups in CEE were able to connect to the outside world and
set up organizational structures, usually centred on student communities. Some
have become part of institutions linked to the Muslim Brotherhood such as the
Federation of Islamic Organizations in Europe (FIOE) or the Forum of European
Muslim Youth and Student Organizations (FEMYSO).
Supported by CEP, GLOBSEC has begun mapping the Brotherhood’s efforts in a
selection of countries in the region. After publishing thefirst report
