Dear Friend,
Adam Gardner here. You might know me from the rock band Guster, but what you may not know is that I'm a proud Mainer and huge supporter of Maine Conservation Voters.
As the Co-Founder of the environmental nonprofit, REVERB, based here in Portland, I understand how important fighting for our environment is, and that's why I’ve joined MCV for their annual "Evening for the Environment" for a number of years. This year, I'm excited to join them again for an incredible virtual event -- and I'm honored to play a little guitar for everyone who attends!
Will you join me on Wednesday, September 23 to support MCV? Reserve your spot today [[link removed]] .
Even though I’m technically “from away,” I’ve truly never felt more at home anywhere than Maine. Fifteen years ago, I chose Maine as the place to raise my family because of its incredibly beautiful and vast wild spaces and easy access to the ocean and waterways. Protecting the environment everywhere is important to me, especially here in our gorgeous state of Maine!
It's really exciting to help MCV raise awareness for the critical environmental issues that affect Maine and Mainers every day. REVERB's environmental work through rock concerts happens across North America and around the world, and we’re always interested in doing more right here in Maine.
Personally, I love how MCV leads collaboration between environmental organizations and holds our representatives accountable, and I use MCV as a resource when heading into the polls and when I want to gain a better understanding of the political landscape for the environment here in Maine.
That's why I'm asking you to join me in supporting MCV today. We're heading into one of the most important elections in our lives, and MCV is working to elect conservation champions who recognize that what’s good for Maine's environment is good for the mental and physical health of our people, good for our economy, and good for our future.
Please join me and MCV for an "Evening for the Environment" this Wednesday, September 23. Click here to learn more and RSVP today [[link removed]] .
Thanks for everything, and I hope you can join me there!
- Adam
