What distinguishes this time from others is that we are truly seeing the culmination of an entire system that is at odds with the people it should have been designed to serve. What remains unknown is whether this will be the moment to usher in a 21st-century civil rights movement or a new civil war.

Mainstream “progressive” strategies focus on organizing in cities while neglecting similar investments in rural areas. This has proven to be a very costly mistake.
