From the Desk of Senator Patrick Gallivan
Patrick Gallivan is honored to work on behalf of the citizens of the 59th Senate District and is grateful for the faith they have placed in him in making sure their voice is heard in Albany.
Since taking office, Pat’s goal has been to serve constituents by being the most effective, efficient, and respected office in the New York State Senate. He has worked to control spending and cuts taxes for residents and businesses, invest in education, maintain agriculture tradition, and reform New York’s burdensome regulatory process that stifles business growth.
As a former New York State Trooper and twice-elected Sheriff of Erie County, Pat is a strong advocate for law enforcement. He has opposed many of the criminal justice changes that endanger public safety and put law-abiding citizens and police officers at risk. Pat believes the vast majority of those in law enforcement are dedicated public servants and in order for them to keep us safe, we must support and keep them safe.
