Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump are giddy about rushing a Supreme Court nominee to fill Justice Ginsburg’s seat.
The hypocrisy is appalling. In 2016, when a vacancy opened in February of an election year, they refused to consider Judge Garland, President Obama’s nominee.
Now, with the election already underway and voters casting their ballots in many states, they’re promising to nominate and confirm a new justice — all so they can undo the Affordable Care Act and overturn Roe v. Wade.
We ALL have to make our voices heard loud and clear, and do everything we can to stop it. It’s time for all hands on deck — please sign our emergency petition to tell Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell no Supreme Court nomination before the next President is sworn in.
The future of the Supreme Court and our rights as we know them are on the line, so please don’t wait.
