I hate receiving or reading Sunday emails as much as the next person, John -- but this couldn't wait.

My finance team informed me that a right-wing super PAC just booked $1.2 million in ads to prop up my opponent, and to attack our campaign and me.

What's also worrisome is that our contributions have slowed in recent weeks, and we're at risk of falling short of our very last end-of-quarter fundraising goal of this election.

With the polls neck-and-neck, and with all that's at stake, we can't afford to show any sign of slowing down when our numbers go public at the end of the month.

I'm humbly asking you to please add a contribution to my campaign before the day ends. I'm reaching out -- on a Sunday, nonetheless -- because this is that important to our collective success.
