Friend --

The outpouring of emotion this weekend surrounding the loss of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg shows the power of a life led in the service of making our country a better place.

That's why, to‌day, to honor the unique impact of Justice Ginsburg, I am reaching out to hear directly from you. What did Justice Ginsburg mean to you?

For me, I think about the legacy she left behind for every woman who has ever had to advocate for the law. Her work paved the way for some of the biggest milestones: Ending single sex admission policies and protecting rights for those with mental disabilities, setting the stage for the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, and more.

Will you take a moment today to share with me what RBG meant to you?

As we look to the fights ahead, it is important to reflect on the power of standing strong for what you believe in.

Thank you,

Maria Cantwell
