'My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed.' — Ruth Bader Ginsburg
Team, when Mitch McConnell announced he would schedule a vote on a replacement for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, he did more than disrespect an American icon — he blatantly ignored her dying wish.

Less than a day after an American hero passed on, the Senate Majority Leader decided to use her death for an extremist political agenda. We can’t let this stand.

We need to send a clear message to the Senate: this isn’t the bipartisan approach we need in Washington. Click here to join us in calling on the Senate to wait until after the next presidential inauguration to hold a confirmation vote →

As Co-Chair of the Problem Solvers Caucus, Josh knows that America works best when we are all united. That’s why he agrees: we cannot in good conscience allow radicals in the Senate to undermine the dying wish of Justice Ginsburg.

The Senate set a clear precedent four years ago: we should not nominate a Supreme Court Justice this close to an election. We must honor this commitment, or risk doing real damage to our institutions.

We need less division, less animosity, less partisanship in our governance, not more. Will you join Josh in calling for Mitch McConnell and the Senate to honor Justice Ginsburg’s final request?

Thank you for your help,

Team Gottheimer
