My campaign manager just called me in a panic, folks.

Turns out, Cory Gardner (my rank-and-file Republican opponent) just upped his ad budget by $500,000 and now Republicans are outspending us by nearly $1 million in the final weeks of this race.

I’ll be honest, we were not expecting this, and it caught us way off guard. If their ads go unchallenged, we could lose this race and any hope of taking back the Senate along with it.

Now, we need to increase our spending sooner than we originally planned — but our budget is stretched as it is, and my campaign manager is worried we won’t have the funds.
