This July 4th, it rained on Trump’s parade -- literally. But the pathetic turnout definitely made for a better celebration than what he had planned: army tanks, military jets, VIP access for big-time Republican donors, and a multi-million dollar bill for the American taxpayers. I’ve asked the Federal Election Commission to investigate Trump’s use of taxpayer dollars on what amounted to a campaign rally, and I’m hoping you’ll join me by signing this petition today.

July 4th marks the anniversary of a venerated day in our nation’s history, and is meant to represent unity -- so naturally, Trump had to make it all about him. But the only thing worse than Trump commemorating our nation’s independence with a campaign rally is forcing the American people to pay for it, which is why I’m demanding the FEC investigate -- will you add your name to mine and sign this petition?

When the Republican National Committee started handing out VIP passes for the parade to major Republican donors, this July 4th celebration became less about our shared history and turned into a partisan, pro-Trump campaign event.
