Good morning John,
Thank you for your ongoing support of our movement-driven campaign. Never forget that your continued advocacy and activism empowers us, each and every day.
Last night, our campaign held a large outdoor watch party for CNN's Climate Town Hall, where the Democratic Presidential candidates discussed their new climate plans over a seven-hour talkathon. With hurricane Dorian looming over the discussions, the town hall was as grave as it was long. Nevertheless, the subject matter couldn't be more urgent. Towards the end of the talks, Shahid Buttar spoke to an audience of allies and emphasized the following, again and again: the battle for a Green New Deal is nothing less but the battle for the survival of our species.
As we transition into a new phase of our campaign, we look to you for strength. Our team is going head to head with America’s most powerful corporate politician. Only with your sustained contributions, whether financial or boots on the ground, will our efforts succeed. If we win this race, we win a Green New Deal. If we win a Green New Deal, we win a second chance for the human race.
