Last night, I stood on the steps of the Supreme Court to honor Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s legacy. I pledged to do everything in my power to protect the Supreme Court and our democracy.
Because everything— everything —is on the line. If we don’t take back the Senate in November, conservatives will have a generations-long majority on the court that will overturn Roe v. Wade, gut voting rights, take away health care for millions, and imperil our democracy.
Everyone here has a role to play. Our voices are now more important than ever before. Please, rush a donation to my Off the Sidelines Flip the Senate Fund to take back the Senate, end Mitch McConnell’s tenure as majority leader, and protect the Supreme Court. [[link removed]]
Mitch McConnell plans to force a vote on a new Supreme Court justice before the election. It is up to all of us—Senators like myself, advocates, citizens—to fight to keep this seat open until the next president and Senate are sworn in.
That means doing in our power to hold Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans accountable by taking back the Senate. Our Flip the Senate Fund helps send candidates like Cal Cunningham in North Carolina and Theresa Greenfield in Iowa the critical resources they need to reach voters, run ads and win in November.
But time is running out to make a difference. We have 45 days left to flip the Senate and save the Supreme Court. Please, give as much as you can right now: [link removed] [[link removed]]
These past few days—these past few years —have been incredibly tough. I know.
I’m so proud of our community’s grit and determination. This is a fight we can win.
Thank you,
Kirsten
